Pedicellus Melo Gua Di 5-150g Induces vomiting to relieve Phlegm-Heat or retained food.
Rx. et Rz. Veratri Li Lu 0.75-30g Induces vomiting to treat Wind-Phlegm.

CONTRAINDICATIONS
  • Use caution, this formula causes vomiting.
  • For unremitting vomiting administer a very concentrated decoction of Bul. Allii Cong Bai.
HERB/DRUG INTERACTIONS

NOTES

  • Grind the ingredients into a coarse powder a powder and prepare as a decoction. Sip the decoction slowly and stop when vomiting begins.
  • It may be administered via a nasogastric tube.
  • The dosage of Rx. et Rz. Veratri Li Lu, will vary according to the strength of the patient and the severity of the condition.
